I grew up in Minot, North Dakota, went to college in Virginia, where I meet my husband, and move down to his hometown of Lakeland, Florida, where we have resided since 2003. Photography has always been a passion of mine, but never thought of it as a career until after having my first 2 children (who are often the subjects of my photos). My third child was born in 2016, and she frequences my photos also.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0Style:\u00a0<\/strong>Although I will always go for the &#8220;christmas card worthy&#8221; picture of everyone looking at the camera and smiling, many of the photos I take are candids of families\/children just playing and connecting with one another. You may hear me say that a lot during our session, that I want you to &#8220;connect&#8221; with whoever is beside you. I love lots of hugs and laughter, even if I tell you to &#8220;fake laugh&#8221;, these photograph great and usually end up in real laughs.
